What is this tv series called?

I watched a tv series back in the early 90s about a man who goes to heaven and speaks to God which God happens to be a very big bald head in the sky. You dont see his body just his head. It was an American comedy series with black actors in it. The young man used to go and do things back on earth for God then come back to god and tell him what he had done. And God sometimes was annoyed with him. This series didnt run for long on tv. Please help me find out what its called I think the young man was an angel.
