Cromartie High School is by far my favorite, though it may be hard to get over the art style for some.

Power puff girls z was fuckin awesome. I saw it at otakon one year.

To add to loli’s (GA) excellent list; Excel Saga, Indian Summer, DearS and Golden Boy are all comedy-oriented.

Though it’s not technically its own anime, Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series is hilarious.

The first 20 or so episodes of Katekyo Hitman Reborn is hilarious! The anime is pretty long but sadly, it ended a few days ago. Katekyo Hitman Reborn is mainly action but it does manage to fit in alot of comedy!
