Nsfw is there a difference between coming and orgasm for women?

Asked by iwillwearyouasahat (95points) April 30th, 2010

Quite often during sex I will make my s/o come, like a lot. It usually makes a huge. Wet mess in the bed. And when it happens it looks and sounds to me like she’s having an orgasm but she insists she is not. Is she right? Can a female squirt without achieving an orgasm?

I know of no woman who fakes not having an orgasm ;)

Well there is the “pre-orgasm” feeling that is pretty intense and amazing at times…and sometimes its kind of sad when the orgasm actually happens….maybe that’s what she is referring to….

@lucillelucillelucille : faking not having an orgasm would seem to be a great plot for a Monty Python skit. “Ohhh, quite a nice orgasm you had there!”. “I didn’t have an orgasm!!” Yes you did. No I didn’t.” and so on and so on…

@Sueanne_Tremendous -lol-I could see that…this song should play every time you don’t have one :)

Yep, theres a special spot up there that will make you squirt like a sprinkler, first time it happened to me my S/o thought i peed.

iwillwearyouasahat's avatar

@slick44 for you is squirting accompanied by an orgasm or are they independent of each other?

slick44's avatar

Sometimes together, sometime just hit that spot.

It is rather hard to define a completely subjective and hard to achieve biological response, isn’t it? There are levels of orgasm, (and quality of orgasms) so presuming she’s being honest, she may just define “orgasm” as a higher plateau than she is reaching.

@Provlear is right. An orgasm to one isn’t the same as it is to another. ESPECIALLY with women.

…Multiple kinds of orgasms; multiple spots and or speeds to hit; feelings, moods and timing… Women are a strange breed.

j0ey's avatar

@Provlear do you think that maybe my “pre-orgasm” feeling is actually a long drawn out orgasm? Because sometimes it is even better than what I would call the “actual orgasm”...........I feel like I should know this stuff…

I don’t know if i’m coming or going.Well this is doing absolutely nothing for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….Some of the things I imagine a woman would say to mask the fact she’s having an orgasm.Other than that i’m fucked if I know the answer.

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille @Sueanne_Tremendous Definitely Monty Python material. :^D

@iwillwearyouasahat My lady experienced different sensations in multiple orgasms, also depending on location and technique of stimulation. Maybe that’s what she is experiencing.

I’m with @lucillelucillelucille I know of no reason a woman would want to fake not having an orgasm.
And what @Provlear and @Randy said. So many variables with women and what they feel.
Sometimes I’m not even sure what happened.

j0ey's avatar

@stranger_in_a_strange_land…... @iwillwearyouasahat did put NSFW..

I really think that there is a difference…..I dont think she is lying….You can feel something really fucking good and it not be “an orgasm”.....I swear.

Your girlfriend is right!!!

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@wilma -I can think of one….it’s called the “Get the hell off me and go home” trick!LOL

Men have ti recharge their batteries

wilma's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille would the faking not having one, get him off of you faster than the faking one? or… perhaps if you/she faked having one, he would think he was good and that you/she would want more? so faking not having one, would get him the hell off faster?

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

Sorry, the lower-case letters threw me off. :^(

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@wilma-Good point.I suggest just running away!LOL

Not in my book. I use the words interchangeably.

One is were you came from (coming) the other “cumming” is orgasmic.

No difference. Cumming and orgasm that is.

Men cum.
Women Orgasm.

;-)

I can do both:)

What you’re asking about is the difference between a clitoral orgasm and a g-spot orgasm. The g-spot is a little rough spot about two inches in, on the front wall of the vagina. You can reach it by making a “come here” motion with your fingers.

When a woman has a g-spot orgasm, it will feel like pressure building up and then a release. She might feel like she needs to pee, because the spot is located behind the urethra. Then, she releases female ejaculate which is not pee.

The clitoris is located outside the body. If a woman is lying on her back, it will be above the vagina. Most positions of intercourse don’t stimulate the clitoris enough, so a woman will usually need extra attention on her clit to reach orgasm.

So a woman can have a g-spot orgasm without having a clitoral orgams, and vice versa. For your question, there’s no difference between coming and orgasm. It’s six of one, half dozen of the other.

BoBo1946's avatar

@Haleth excellent…i’m very aware of the g-spot!

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Haleth @BoBo1946 Ditto. I’m thinking wow what a great explanation. You should package this up as a primer and pass it out to all the horny teenagers, but then I would probably catch a lot of crap from the uptight assholes.

It seems like everyone else has answered your question already.

My two cents would be: as long as you’re both satisfied by the end of it, you’re good.

slick44's avatar

@Haleth… could not have said it better. In fact i think i tried. thumbs up.

Or thumbs down and all around.. ;-)
