I have corney question, what is a dependable corn variety to grow in zone 4 .

Any corn growers, I ask for your advice. Something that is not too sweet, disease resistant and preferably a non -hybrid.

What we’re growing here in New Hampshire is a hybrid, bicolor, extra early, cold tolerant called Xtra-Tender 270A (F1)(sh2). We have had good results with this variety for the past 5 years. We’d like to plant non-hybrids, but the frost-free season is just too short. This variety is moderately sweet and we can harvest early enough to beat almost everyone else to market.
