What are some of your greatest projects?
This is going to be hard to explain, but what “projects” are you most proud of?
By project I mean:
something that you created for fun
it could be anything from a project you found on a website or an invention you made.
My favorite was a hovercraft I made off instructables
Please include a link if there is one

I create ceramic glazes that other potters have tried to get the recipes for laughs wickedly;)
Some have taken a few years to perfect and I love experimenting with them.Who says chemicals aren’t fun?
This answer will probably be swiftly overwhelmed with more impressive responses in a few minutes, but a few years ago I made a belt out of can tabs that I really liked. It looked cool and drew a lot of compliments.
A few years back my friends and I got together to organise a charity concert. It ended up becoming much bigger than we expected and we eventually raised $17,000 for a youth shelter in Singapore. That was quite fulfilling.
And training my dog to do a multitude of useless but adorable tricks.
The making and studying the physics behind a gause rifle are extremely satisfying, especially after you construct one yourself.
Also, setting up a math tutoring program for at risk kids was a lot more fun that I first realized it will be. Seeing kids making 40’s and 50’s on tests then after tutoring making 80’s and 90’s and seeing how proud they were and their boost in confidence was truly fulfilling.
A script I wrote after doing two years of research on the topic. I’m currently in the middle of rewrites for it. This project is my baby. :)
My wife and her step-father and brother and I are almost done with a total rebuild of a home for she and I. It’s the largest and most involved construction project in which I have ever been involved. I am immensely proud of having done so much of the rebuild myself, especially since I’ve never done anything like this before. : ))
I have built secret underground skateparks in vacant warehouses. These warehouse parks are constructed mostly from salvaged materials. Under bridges, along drainage ditches, retaining walls, and against jersey barriers or anywhere else you can make skateable I like to make skateable by making transitions with ready mix concrete.

Their names are “Eric” and “Melanie”.
They were certainly made “just for fun”, and have turned into so much more.

I suppose I could consider my own 5 children and 10 grandchildren a lifetime “project.” : ))
One of my first woodcraft objects i made was this hall lamp.
In the background the stairs which also was a project, but a quite annoying and long lasting one.
I once did a black and white sketch of my daughter as she was playing with her dolls. She was about 4 years old. No longer have it. She took a crayon to it and destroyed it. Guess some critics can be tough. :(
Before I became disabled six years ago I became pretty good at stone carving. I am unable to do that anymore.
I used to play the guitar well and I was learning to play the banjo but I can’t really do that much anymore because of my injuries.
I was pretty good at helping other researchers with their research challenges. I did it for pay, but unbeknownst to those who paid me, I enjoyed it so much I’d have done it for free.
I was trained as a Clinical Psychologist although after completing my Ph.D. I spent my time as a consultant in research design and statistical analysis because it was better suited to my style of working.
I still can help and encourage people with life problems that are holding them back but I am not well enough to do it for a living.
Do not look at my profile. I am not trying to promote myself in anyway.
4 songs,
a few shows for MERF a non profit that helps musicians
bein nice
Most recently, I’ll say our garden. Last year we did pretty well and gave away somewhere in the neighborhood of 100lbs of fresh produce and about 80 quarts of canned veggies.
My three NaNoWriMos, probably. The writing was terrible, but being able to commit to a project that huge and insurmountable was great.
