Have you ever lived on a boat?

I don’t mean a Canal boat, I mean more like a Power Cruiser or something alike.
If so, what is big enough for 2 people to live on?
How did you get by?
Any suggestions for coping with living on a boat if it is something you have never done before?

We could’ve easily lived on the boat we sold this past fall.It had a full galley,2 heads, and slept 8.Would I want to live on a boat?Nope :)
I spent three days on a yacht once. I’ve never really wanted to do that again.
I’ve spent don’t know how many days on a cruise ship before. It was good actually, like living in a resort with all the luxury hehehe :)
You can have your cruise ships. I’d much rather be on solid ground, preferrably mountians.
I did a week on a 70’ shrimp trawler that was converted to a dive boat. As long as we were moving and heading somewhere I would stay aboard. I thought it was a nice departure from the toll roads around here.
I’ve also been on a cruise, 7 days. Don’t know if that counts as “living” on a boat, though.
no, been on four 7-days cruises! loved every minute….fun, fun, and fun!
My employee lives in a sail boat. He says he loves it. And he has the ability to move his home at will. :-)
@ChazMaz Thank you for answering the question. How long has he lived on the boat?
Years. It is cool. He fishes from the back, slides off the side to do some snorkeling. And if he wants some privacy can moor it in the Indian River and as a view like no other.
@ChazMaz Do you think people can cope then if they have lived on shore all their life?
I could, he does. Would luv to live on a boat.
I guess it just depends on how much stuff you need to have.
@Sophief That might be a drawback to the boat.
@ChazMaz What kind of boat does he live on?
