What kind are you, a morning person or night owl?
I just came up with this idea of asking everyone which one of these they are.
Hope you enjoy it as I will enjoy reading your responses:D

Absolutely not a morning person. I’m dead in the morning. Definitely a night person though, always have been.
It depends on what shift I work. I switch back and forth between staying up late and working in the afternoon and night, and sleeping early to work in the morning.
@Parrappa , hahahah I’m dead in the morning :D love it!
@Blackberry , wow thats tuff! All I have to do is only school, I usually sleep at 10 and wake up at 6:30 in the morning.
Neither. I go to bed early, & wake up late.
@Thesexier I’ve grown accustomed to it. It’s a break from always having to wake up early, and I don’t like working late all the time so I feel it is the best of both worlds.
Night Owl. Which sucks, because I’m working 0600–1400 now…
it’s 2214 and I def should’ve gone to bed an hour ago —__—’
I’m nocturnal. A daughter of the night, I abhor the morning and the light, and may it be damned.
I dislike nights…and I dislike mornings :-/
I peak between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Before that, it’s all uphill and after that, it’s all downhill. =P
Right. That’s it. I’m definitely going to bed….. now!
…
<_<
>_>
…ugh.
I am definitely a night person…I dislike too much sunlight and I’m awake until midnight or later nearly every night.
Unfortunately, I also have to wake up at 5:30 every morning…
Oh wow I think I am going to rest too :D
Night owl. Just like all my college freshmen friends. ;)
I schedule all my classes for late in the morning or the afternoon and I go to bed really late every night. I get enough sleep, it’s just shifted forward a few hours from what some other people may do.
I worked midnight shift for 9 years straight and thought that was the cat’s meow. I’ve been on a day shift schedule for 8 months now and I can’t believe everything I was missing during daylight hours both at work and on my days off. I can say with reasonable certainty that I’m now enjoying mornings and my daylight hours much more that I can ever remember in the past.
It honestly depends. Right now, I am a total night owl, but last month, I was a morning person. I have always been able to do both, no matter how much sleep I get.
I am both! I love the morning especially the sunrise and also so look forward to the peace and quiet of after hours all alone where I do some of my best thinking! ;)
I’m a morning person. I have absolutely no trouble getting out of bed in the morning. I don’t even need to set an alarm, I just wake up around 5 – 5:30am. It’s quite peaceful at that time when few people are awake, so I often like to take a walk then. And, nothing sets a day on the right track like waking up to the sunrise.
I’m a night person in the sense that I stay up super late and would sleep away the morning if I had the option.
However, I stay up late and have early classes…I don’t sleep much.
When I could, I’d nap after my 8 am class for a few hours, which was nice.
Staying up is never difficult for me. Getting up, different story.
Although, I did like starting my day with the early classes, I felt very productive (when I didn’t nap). I would never get up early by choice though.
Night owl. I work late and sleep during the day (usually). But life doesn’t like to revolve around my schedule, so sometimes my schedule gets a little lop-sided. My favorite sleep schedule is waking up around 6p and going to bed at 10a.
Such a night owl! I’m getting some energy now, 5 pm! I worked graveyard for years. My brain doesn’t process very well until at least 10 am.
I am a night owl forced into the schedule of those chirpy, happy morning larks. :P
Yes, when I had to work days, there were chirpy chatty people everywhere!
If the fact that I can do the most after ten makes me a night owl then that is what I am. I tend to stay up till 4 and then wake up around lunch time every chance I get.
@janbb took the words out of my mouth.
I just heard a talk and this morning/night person was mentioned. It turns out it’s genetic, and can’t be changed. 20% are on either side of the continuum. There was discussion about how for some students getting out of bed early is a real hardship, and these should be paired with the night-owl teachers—and let them all start school at a time when they are in good shape.
At this stage of my life a very weird combination of a morning person crossed with a night owl, believe me, the end result is NOT very pleasant!
I despise everyone and everything before 11 AM.
I’m most definitely a night owl… carpe nocturne!
I’m a night owl during school season, like right now, For some reason, during summer break I’m a morning person, idk why…
Both, with a nap in the afternoon.
I am and have almost always been a night owl. I think best then and am at my most creative after midnight.
I love the quiet and peacefulness of waking up just before sunrise. It gives me the chance to exercise, then relax with a cup of coffee before the stresses of the day set in.
Definately a night owl. I am calmer and much more at peace during the evening/night.
Night time, when everyone’s sleeping or out i howl to the cousins of wolves.
