An illustrated atlas had more effect on me as a child than any other book. It made me want to travel and I have spent a good part of my life doing exactly that.

It’s not quite nonfiction, but it was based on a true story: Island Of The Blue Dolphins—Scott O’Dell.

I don’t do much reading, but I enjoyed Tuesdays with Morrie.
It’s an easy read and quite inspiring.

Right now I am reading ” Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert. I haven’t finished it yet, but it seems to be an excellent book so far.

@Vunessuh that was my choice, also. Tuesdays with Morrie is my favorite book.

@stranger_in_a_strange_land I read it at least every 6 months, along with Julie Of The Wolves & Stowaway.

@stranger_in_a_strange_land I’ll read just about anything, save for Twilight. Ugh….
