How do other guys deal with their feelings when their lady goes for her mammogram?
My lady is going in for her annual mammogram today. She has a family history of breast cancer, including several aunts and her mother. I know it’s not any different than any other day, in terms of it occuring, but this day always scares the frigging crap out of me. Are there any other guys that feel this way?

Not a guy, but the child of a cancer survivor here.
She’s going to get tested which is the first step. From what I understand and what happened with my own mom, people wait too long to get tested and then any issues are harder to deal with. Even if there is something wrong, these days, cancer is not a death sentence. Also, believe it or not, but having a wonderful loving partner like you can really help. Your lady is going to be just fine. I bet she doesn’t even have a lump!
@KatawaGrey Thanks :) She does have a lump, me. (If I keep asking these kinds of questions the guy police will be here for my units.)
@Adirondackwannabe: It is way more manly to worry about your lady than to go drink beer and watch the game. ;)
Hang in there. Not all lumps are cancerous. They can do sonograms to determine what they are. They don’t even have to do a biopsy. Be prepared for the worst, but expect the best. Get back to us with the results. I’m sending good thoughts her way. :-)
How nice of you to care about her. I wasn’t be sarcastic Not many would even remember what day it was.
I’m just curious now how many men don’t know of the day?
I hope things go well for her sonogram.
