For lunch, I will be having some left over soup that I made the other night, with veggies and a rotisserie chicken.
Dinner, I’m thinking some Chinese in bed… yumm.
What are you planning on eating today?

I am contemplating stuffed mushrooms.
I’m probably going to have a charcuterie/fromage/salade thing at some fancy-schmancy place down on the LES with friends.
Ooh, I’ll have to dress up.
I had lunch already. It was a half a whole wheat bagel with salmon and a bit of cream cheese and tomato, and a glass of lowfat milk.
had pad thai for lunch.
Dinner will either be a bagel w/ cream cheese, or a ham and cheese wrap, or a mini calzone… I probably won’t have the energy for the calzone though.
@lilikoi : that was my original idea for dinner! stuffed portabello… filling: black beans, ricotta, bruschetta and mozzarella… yum!!
As I’m writing this I’m munching on a salad with apple, blue cheese, and pecans. Dressing is a garlicy mustard-vinagrette. Yum!
Dinner…. who knows? I have an eggplant in the fridge that needs to be eaten, maybe i’ll do something with that?
Chinese for dinner in bed? hell yeah.
for lunch/brunch/breakfast i went to a diner with my friend and had eggs ham toast hashbrowns and coffee. then i came home and had homemade apple pie and ice cream. it was DYNO MITE.
now i’m snacking on carrots with ranch and will probably eat half a bag of grapes soon…
dinner is LOBSTER or steak. we’re still deciding. i am excited. and broccoli. woop.
Some pasta things with vegetables in it.
Hubby started baby back ribs slow cooking in the oven this morning. That house is going to smell wonderful when I get home. :-)
Fish & chips then maybe a spam bap.Washed down with a beer or 4,or 5 or…...burrrrrrp!!!
@aprilsimnel Yes that is what it was, except with not as much variety.
For dinner I will be going out with my Grandpa, Mom, and two girlfriends to celebrate my graduating tomorrow. Should be tasty, whatever I end up having.
Grilled cheese with Spagetti-o’s.
Dinner is going to be grilled chicken cooked outside marinated in lemon juice and garlic and olive oil. With salad with blue cheese dressing (homemade).
Tonight, leftover homemade beef stew that has mellowed for two days.
Tomorrow, salmon and asparagus.
Right this minute, oatmeal. I love oatmeal.
Too late for lunch, which I didn’t have, but there’s lasagna for dinner.
Also, dead guy pieces I found in the subway.
@marinelife : what’s your homemade blue cheese dressing recipe, if you don’t mind sharing….
@Symbeline – Be sure to marinate those pieces first. They can be a little tough, otherwise.
@Samantha_Rae It is from Fran McCullough’s The Low Carb Cookbook.
4 ozs. blue cheese, such as Roquefort (which is especially good)
½ c. sour cream
½ c. mayonnaise
¼ tsp pepper
dash of hot pepper sauce
¼ c. minced chives (fresh if you have them)
In a small bowl, break up the cheese with a fork, leaving some chunks. Add everything else but the chives and mix thoroughly. Stir in the chives. Cover the bowl titghtly and store in the refrigerator up to a week.
It is excellent for dipping celery and buffalo wings in too!
Lunch was leftover homemade chicken pot pie. We’re going to my in-laws for dinner, and last I heard they were planning on feeding us pulled pork sandwiches. I rather wish we were staying home, because I was going to make Hawaiian pizza. That will have to wait until tomorrow, but it gives me something to look forward to!
This vegan and happy housewife is preparing the following: spinach salad, lentil stew, and brown rice.
@Primobabe Do you feel differently now than you did when you were a meat eater? Or have you been a vegan for so long you can’t remember? It sounds so incredibly healthy.
@Aster I’ve been a vegan for nearly 25 years, so I can’t really remember much about eating meat. I just know that I feel great! Physically, I’m much younger than my chronological age. I should have lost some energy or health as all those years passed by, but I didn’t.
I should explain that I’m purely vegan at home, but that I sometimes bend the rules when I’m away (just dairy products, or an occasional baked good that contains eggs). I made this small compromise in the interest of marital harmony. Veganism’s so restrictive, it’s very difficult to eat in restaurants or at other people’s homes. I was imposing too much of my beliefs on my husband, which really isn’t fair, so I bent a little.
No matter where I am, I don’t wear leather, wool, fur, or any other animal products.
.
For lunch me and mom were shopping and decided to go to KFC!! I love it<3<3<3
And dinner I was at a friends birthday and we had chicken AGAIN! and some snacks and sodas.
chicken and spinach lasagna….
For dinner tonight I’m making warm salad with cherry tomatoes, chicken and bacon. My son will have fermented soy bean and cabbage soup, with rice (he likes it, really!).
We’re going here for lunch. So excited for a panini. Yummy.
@chels
Are they going to be serving panini in this thread? ;-)
Black pepper chicken with broccoli and steamed brown rice, and Thai ice tea.
Fast Food For Lunch :P , And For Dinner Maybe Some Eggs , Obviously Mom is Not Here :P
Quiznos. How strange my sandwich has three meats and a cheese yet all I can taste is the black olives. I won’t be ordering from them again.
The answer to both is the same.
I will be having a BBQ chicken sub from a local sub/pizza place. I may get a bag of chips from a store on the way to work, or out of a vending machine at work.
Holy cats, I’m interesting!~
I’m angling for Chipotle today, I could use a few pounds.
We had chili dogs for dinner (along with fries and fresh fruit) then built a fire in the back yard to make s’mores. It was a good day for summer food!
