Do you ever get sick of the internet?

Yes, I do. If and when I spend a lot of time, too much time, on the internet, which I do sometimes, because I just love the internet, not going to deny it, and I go in phases, but I probably do spend more time on it than I should, anyway, blah, blah, blah, of course, I do get sick of it. Then I do other things. There are a whole lot of other things to do. Ride bicycles, read, go to the movies, go to the beach, throw a dinner party, talk to people on the phone or go out to dinner with friends. But I do those things anyway, just when I find myself spending more time on the internet than I should, the desire to do other things seems more urgent.

No, but I do get tired of some things on it. There’s enough diverse things out there that overall boredom has never been a problem for me, though.

I don’t get sick of the internet… but I get sick of the people on it.

I get sick of a lot of things. Explaining myself, being misunderstood, the limitations of words, repeating patterns in my life, people in general, being a type A and people telling me I’m high maintenance, drug addicts, alcoholics, closed minded cerebral types who have no appreciation for imagination art, poetry and wonder, politically correct fundamentalist leftists, far right hawk neo conservatives, rap music that is neither a clever rap nor music, dysfunctional family members with dysfunctional spouses who have children anyway, those who think that the best thing for society is an elimination of all institutions and this seriously twisted, fucked up, loveless, godless, perverted and sarcastic age which is like a boat adrift at sea without a rudder or anchor. Other than that I’m good.

Of course not – I have better things to do. If I don’t see what I’m looking for here, I go somewhere else.

No… I do not ever get sick of the internet in fact it is just the opposite…I can’t get enough. By the tone of you question, you seemed to be rubbed the wrong way by Fluther moderators, which is a whole other can of worms. Mods more often than not have a thankless job to do and many do gratis, so unless you thank them for all they do, don’t judge them.

When I get frustrated at similar things, I blame bureaucracy and bureaucrats, but not the internet. I love the internet.

Well, no. You know you can just turn off the computer. There’s a lot more to the internet than Fluther and Youtube.

I get bored pretty easy if it doesn’t involve some dude with a hockey mask slaughtering people, but no, I don’t get sick of it, per se.

I do get sick of some people online though.
