Maybe you become a hospital chaplain? That's what my mom did with hers, although it takes additional chaplaincy training.

One of my step-sons, after a BA in History from Harvard, got a Mdiv from Harvard Divinity School...wonderful for his soul and his year at firt a monastery in Dharmsala, Indai and then a Quaker retreat center near Philly but hopeless professionally...except for the ancillary counselling skills. He taught history for few years and now is working w. educational organizations (ie. National Ass'n of Independent Schools) and the environmental arm of NAPCA.

Your degree does not include ordination, I assume? If you treat the bible as a great book, you can teach English at a good independent secondary school. And the chaplains (all wonderful, BTW) I have met at the hospitals also have day jobs...the pay isn't great.
