Get balloons printed with the details on it so the person has to blow the balloon up to find out the info and they will have a nice balloon to pin on their notice board to remind them of the up and coming play. It will make them curious about coming to see the performance especially with such an interesting and unique invitation. Good Luck :)

Get the school art class to work on this. Poster project and lithograph designs for postcard-type mail invitations.

Why not make postcard-versions of a Playbill. Cover as the front, and invitation info on back.

Of course, you’ll make an actual Playbill for the night of the show. ^_^

You can deliver it in those little bottles with a cork on top. (Of corse it will be plastic) Usually they come with corks in the top, but the bottoms are detachable. Then just roll up little printed pieces of paper saying the place, date, time etc. Then put them all in a basket and leave it at the front door of the school. Or put them in little narrow bags and place those wherever you think they’ll be seen! it make take a little work, but the finished project will look stunning!

You could print sticky labels and put them on plant labels. That would fit with the summer/garden theme.

Or you could design little invites that look like seed packets. There are free printable seed packets here.

Use scrapbook factory or photoshop. It will look nice.

Buy some vellum, write the invitations out with a calligraphy pen, and then roll them up like a scroll, tying them up with a piece of ribbon. It’ll look very classy, and it’ll certainly be eye-catching.
