great, memorable hotels in Hawaii?

First trip to Hawaii--I've heard great things. Hoping to find a lovely place where I can swim in the ocean and in a pool.

Well if you ever make it to Maui--Grand Wailea Resort & Spa. It was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

Depending on your budget and style, you can get all kinds of recommendations. If your tastes run toward the more elegant and luxurious, check out the Grand Hyatt or the Princeville Resort.
