Does using hydrogen peroxide do lighten your eyebrows actually work?
I’m going to dye my hair very light blonde at the end of the month, and my eyebrows are a little bit too dark. They are actually quite light, like light brown, but I want them to be a little lighter.
Does using hydrogen peroxide slightly lighten the eyebrows? I don’t want to use a facial bleaching kit because they aren’t that dark.
If peroxide dosen’t work, do you know of any other effective ways to slightly lighten your eyebrows?

Peroxide may turn them red, so I would be afraid to use it. My hairdresser has told me they are not allowed by law to dye eyebrows as it is too close to the eyes, so I’m not sure what you could use. Are you doing it yourself or going to a salon to have your hair bleached?
Maybe try the trick some people use to get highlights: Put lemon juice on your brows and get in the sun for a little while.
@chyna I’m doing it myself, but I’m not looking for a drastic difference, I’m talking like 1 shade lighter, my eyebrows are already pretty light as it is. I know people use facial bleach, which is made for hair on the face such as chin, eyebrows, and upper lip etc. On What Not To Wear (TLC) they use facial bleach to lighten up the peoples eyebrows when needed.
@Facade Maybe I’ll try it tommorow. Although I don’t have any fresh lemons, just lemon juice.
I think lemon juice should work instead of fresh lemons.
Peroxide should work. You know those clearsol face wipes? Those will lighten your hair, haha.
Also try henna dye. It’s all natural.
@RedPowerLady Clearsol face wipes? Are those the ones with the alcohol in them made for acne? haaha
@desiree333 Ya acne medicine. My sister used to use them faithfully and her bangs got discolored a blondish color from them. Don’t know if it works for everyone but it did for her, haha.
@RedPowerLady Well, I used to have acne pretty bad so I use this “Pan Oxyl” that’s 5% benzoyl peroxide, and it bleached my hairline a bit. I don’t use it as much anymore because Yaz cured my acne. :)
Basically the point of that is that maybe benzoyl peroxide is what bleaches the hair.
