A girl kissed me, what do I do?
On the last day of school I was signing yearbooks. I had everyone’s signature. When the girl of my dreams asked me to sign on the way to our buses, she kissed me on the cheek leaving me speechless in front of my bus. My best friend, who dated her once, saw it and got mad at me. What do I do?

Well, what do you want to do? Do you want to go out with her? It would seem from the kiss that she might be open to that.
So, call her over the summer and ask her out.
First, just because your friend dated her once doesn’t give your friend exclusive rights to her.
Call her and ask her to do something fun. Make it a day time date so it doesn’t seem so much like a date the first time. Or invite her to do something with you and a few other friends.
Just do it!
The biggest question is what do you want to do? Are you looking for it to mean something like she wants you to ask her out on a date? It might mean that. You could try it out and see. Or it could have just been a friendly gesture. In any case, your friend can’t gert mad at you since it was she who kissed you!
(@marinelife I owe you a coke and I’m coming to deliver it!)
Score! It depends on how serious the relationship was with your friend and your girl. If it was serious, it’s kind of unwritten that you can’t date her. It also depends on how good of friends you guys are. If you feel that it would be wrong, then don’t pursue her. On the other hand, if you don’t take a chance, you’ll regret it forever.
When the girl of my dreams kisses me I kiss her back. Every time. There’s a time for open-mouthed speechlessness, but it’s not when the girl of your dreams kisses you. Not then.
PS: When that happens I have no idea what the rest of the world is doing, either.
Cartwheels all the way home.
@janbb thanks, but I think I like @Silhouette‘s even better. (After I kiss her*, of course.)
*The girl of my dreams, that is. Not that I wouldn’t also kiss @Silhouette, of course.
Yes, I agree with the accolades of @Silhouette‘s answer. “Oh – to be young was very heaven!”
In my opinion you should like it.
Forget about whatever anyone else has told you…cooties are real and should be taken very seriously. You are infected and immediately run into your backyard….unreel the hose and turn it on full blast and flush your mouth for 15 minutes. After that duct tape your mouth closed for the rest of the day to suffocate any remaining cooties. You will survive this but expect a bit of light headedness..
Do whatever you want to do! Your friend can be mad about it, but that shouldn’t affect you because your friend will learn to get over it. And if they don’t, then they may not be the best friend considering they can’t get over a kiss on the cheek! Anyways… enjoy it! live in the moment! Call her over for summer, hang out with her. Do whatever you want!
Close your mouth, get on the bus, and go home.
Do you feel you sorta oughta wanta kiss her back?
(And I thought I was the girl who can’t say no!)
@janbb you’re in a terrible fix
Really, you two. You should know when you orta say nix.
Get off the computer and SMOOCH HER FACE!
Memorize this:
“Jenny kissed me when we met,
Jumping from the chair she sat in;
Time, you thief, who love to get
Sweets into your list, put that in.
Say I’m weary, say I’m sad,
Say that health and wealth have missed me;
Say I’m growing old, but add Jenny kissed me.”
