I use sweet basil and Thai basil for Italian dishes and stir frys. What is lemon basil good for? Are there any particular dishes where it makes a big difference or really stands out?

It’s wonderful in any dish where you need to cut the sweetness down a notch. Great with Italian fish dishes, makes an interesting ice cream too.
They’re also good with any creamy curry dish, to flavor a vinaigrette, or just about any dish you make that calls for basil.
Lemon Basil is great with fish dishes
I use fresh of both on many Shrimp and Pasta dishes, really tasty , and also Breaded and Fried Chicken Breasts soaked in Lemon , Butter and Basil…. Yummy .. Although not good for the waistline .. haha !.
Go fresh to get the most milage from the bright flavor.
