Where can I download fonts for free?
I’m looking specifically for ITC Bradley Hand Com for MS Word on Mac. Thanks!
(I had no idea they charge up to $80 for fonts?!)

1001freefonts.com has a lot of fonts, but many of them are made from various people and may not contain what you’re looking for. Still, there’s a ton on there.
I’m not sure if it’s for Mac, but I found that font here.
$80 is nothing for fonts. Really. I’ve seen font families for sale for at least $200. And when you think about it, it’s not that outrageous a price. Have you ever designed a typeface? It’s difficult and time consuming to make an attractive, legible font. Typography is an art form, and when you rip off people’s fonts you’re stealing their work of art.
As for places you can can get fonts for free, @silverfly‘s suggestion is good. If you feel like making your own typeface, just to see what it’s like, try FontStruct. It’s a free website where people make and post their own fonts, so there are many fonts made by other FontStruct users you can download totally free (and legally).
@ragingloli – I have to add the font to a shopping cart, where they then charge me 43 pounds… :(
@silverfly ”... but many of them are made from various people…” You have certainly got my imagination running hot… fonts made from people, that gives me something to ponder… yeah…
@ragingloli Lol, that’s alright. As long as I didn’t download a virus along with it.. >_>
