Ideally it would be wine based, or even liqueur based. No spirits please, I don’t drink them. My drink of choice has been champagne and Five-Alive but my champagne has been discontinued and the next one up is more expensive than I would like. I do like Sangria, but I need something I could mix up one at a time in a glass…maybe just 2 or 3 ingredients. I like bubbly but it isn’t a must, and not too sweet if that helps. : )

A nice German Auslese with strawberries in the glass.
¾ Orange Juice & ¼ Vodka = Screwdriver!
My father in law drinks the occasional red wine mixed with cola.
And of course, i now found out, there is even a Wikipedia page about it.
I’m a huge fan of champagne with raspberry juice.
You can use a natural or lightly sweetend.
Mix:
⅔ Champagne
⅓ raspberry juice
a couple drops of lime juice
garnish with thinly sliced lime and float a few fresh Raspberries….mmmm
Pomegranite juice is delicious too, same ⅔ to ⅓ ratio
What about Sangria? Perfect for summer.
Kir
Put 1 or two tablespoons Creme de Cassis (black currant liqueur)
and a couple ice cubes
into 1 glass white wine
Lemon twist optional
A mimosa is champagne with orange juice.
Creme de cocoa and some nasty well vodka mixed with a dash of whipped cream. Shake well.
It’s called the “Santorum shot.”
