Where is the best place for a single woman to live in San Francisco.

somewhere near Dolores park, like off Valencia st. There’s a lot of cool people like in the mission but with better places to eat and less crime.

I don’t think it matters where you live if you’re a guy or girl…but I’d say try for one of the safer neighborhoods. Avoid the tenderloin, parts of western addition and hunters point/bayview.

It doesn’t matter. My old roommate now lives in the TL and has no problems. To be fair, she’s pretty bad ass. I consider lots of aspects of San Francisco to be gender-equal.

Just don’t turn into Marina Trash or go living in North Beach. Those are the single women I love to hate, the Banana Republic kind with standard issue dark glasses.

i’d say go to the richmond or sunset…safer, mellow, cleaner, cheaper…....
or cole valley or noe but way less affordable
