How do you check the number of accusations on a Nikon D80?

trying to check the number of accusations on my nikon d80. need help.

I’m not sure what you mean by “accusations.” I’ve never heard of that word as a photography term. Could you (or someone) explain what you mean by that, or what you’re trying to find out?

he means actuations, the number of times the shutter has fired.
Check the last image you took. In the exif data there is an item called “Camera Actuations”

Oh, I see. Yeah, the EXIF data should be able to tell you. Here’s a decent EXIF utility for Windows if you don’t already have one: http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/

Not all cameras have this capability. My Canon 5D had no counter until a firmware update. None of my Sony A900, A700, or A200’s have total counters regardless of firmware updates. I can’t speak to Nikon.
