If you were trying to assess an individual's understanding of technology marketing concepts, what two questions would you ask them?
This is a follow up to another question I asked previously about trying to gauge an individual’s understanding of basic finance. I’m trying to develop a quick survey for a group of entrepreneurs to gauge their knowledge in different areas. What questions would you ask someone to determine whether they understand key marketing concepts important for starting a new business?
I’m looking for maybe ten questions or so—ideally with closed sets of answers = multiple choices.

Who is your target market?
Who is your competition and how is your product better or competitive in that target market?
I can only think of one right now:
Do you actually know enough about what you are selling to be able to sell it to anybody with more than three active brain cells, or are you making stuff up?
(It’s annoying and demeaning when someone with less technical knowledge than me tries to sell me something. There is also the liability risk of false advertising.)
What are the four Ps of marketing?
What are x-many basic forms of market research?
Name x-many marketing tactics other than advertising.
What is a marketing channel?
What are the four parts of the Boston Consulting Group growth share matrix?
Which of the following is not a commonly practiced pricing model?
What are the steps of the product life cycle?
Any of these can easily be made into a multiple choice Q.
I realize this is more than two, but if I were actually trying to see how much someone knows about marketing, I would not ask basic questions unless they were unable to answer more complex ones.
@EmpressPixie Could you please answer the questions that you suggested…I would like to know the answers. I’m in the midst of working on a business plan for my new idea :)
I would ask them for a list of books read, pertaining to subject matter.
