Do you give a serious answer to a question always, sometimes, or almost never? Why?

There are members here who always give a serious answer. Personally, it depends on the question and how it “hits me!” Lots of times, the first thought that hits my mind, i write it! Really like answers that are lighthearted and fun. Many times i’m guilty of not answering the question in the manner of the person’s request. Also, sometimes don’t read the question properly if it is not a serious question, or maybe I should say, a question that is light hearted.
What are your thoughts on answering questions?
