Ever been stood up? What were the circumstances and how did you feel?

Does your SO not remembering your birthday count as having been stood up? (ex SO)

I planned a play group one time. At the last minute everybody cancelled and I was left with lots of graham crackers, lots.

I am excited to join WTF group, but please, don’t let me polish of a bottle to myself ever again. My head is killing me this morning.

I was kind of stood up once, but not really. I left my cellphone in my car when I went inside a starbucks to meet a friend of mine. Good thing I brought a book. I sat there reading for an hour without realizing that time flew by so quickly. When I went back to the car, I had a message on my phone saying the friend couldn’t make it, was stuck at work ;P

This is actually not a bad idea. maybe we should start a Fluther WTF book club and have meetings once a month?

I’d have to check my busy social and work schedule first. Oh look… completely empty on both counts. I’m in.
