How would you recognize your kid's (or kids') room(s)?

Just arrived in a strange city and came alone to my son’s new apartment. He told me which room is his, but I would have recognized it instantly. Two iPhones, sunscreen and medicines in a fanatically neat row, books, four laptops and an iPad. Typing this on his Mac. “As if I didn’t know him, as if I didn’t know my only kid. As if I didn’t know the way he brushes his hair off his forehead.” (Paul Simon) What “tells” would identify your kid’s place to you anywhere in the world?

Here we go!
daughter numero uno: Leonardo Dicaprio posters. Her mac, school books (because she’s always got something to do for school) her phone (texting duh!) and her favorite pair of sunglasses, and how could I forget.. her blue room and sand dollars (my beach babe). Ok.. twin #1: purple-pink room. Phone, laptop, tennis racket, signed tennis ball, shoes scattered somewhere in her room (my fashionista). And lastly, Wallie her bear
twin #2: soccer ball, another signed tennis ball, Blankie, purple room, collection of yearbooks from each year (my social butterfly), and her phone.
baby boy: Barney pillow, stuffed soccer ball (this is probably for dogs but who cares!), jersey (my aspiring athlete), one of the “Teletubbies” friends, and a mozart cassette tape (it’s the only thing to get him to fall asleep to).
It’s the one she’s not sleeping in.
Well, it’s the one with every box and bucket-full of toys emptied on the floor, and all the cars, boats, and planes removed (and shoved under the living room sofa). There’s a smashed Elmo drumset in the corner.
Of course, he’s not quite two yet. ^_^
I don’t have kids, but I would know my husband’s room (he is like a kid in the good way). Photos of his parents, little matchbox cars, and model Porsche’s, a wall clock that looks like a tire, build a bear with a Harley Davidson jacket, Mexican flag on the wall, license plates from many of the places he has lived, one of those wood carved with green mirror name things you can buy at craft fairs, and his diplomas and degrees in frames on the wall. That is kind of a combination of the garage, and his cave (which is also referred to as the bonus room).
A room full of candles, book & photos of our dogs.
Her artwork on the walls & shoe & hat boxes piled neatly in a corner
I would also recognise the scent of her favourite perfume in the room also
I have a feeling mine will always have the sloppy bed and the clothes right next to the laundry basket.
