Are my friendships healthy?

I am a sociable guy with a very small network of friends. The people I call my friends have proven to be friends in every sense of the word. However, I have one issue. With the exception of one all my friends are female! I am a gay man and I do enjoy the company of women, but I would also like to enjoy platonic relationships with other men. I have given up on developing friendships with straight men. My attempts to develop friendships with other gay men have been unsuccessful due to age conflict, lack of common interest, or gay politics. I am thankful for my true friends, but wonder if they are healthy and are my desires for male companionship normal
