Is it a "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" and wonderful day in your neck of the woods?

I drove home to visit my parents today, so I’d say my entire week is actually off to a pretty wonderful start. :)
The 5 hour drive also wasn’t so unbearable because this awesome person talked to me on the phone practically the whole time.

It was 40 degrees this morning, it’s been a steady rain since noon, my knees are killing me (probably the weather), and I had the worst golf outing of my life last night. On the plus side, we really need the rain, after the second hole last night we all gave up and laughed ourselves silly, we got to see things we’ve never seen on the golf course and I got a good work out. So things are good. Glad you’re having a good day B.

I dropped the phone in a gallon of paint while talking to a friend…ahem…and tracked white footprints all over the freshly re-done wood floor and now have a big blob of paint on the side of my head.LOL

Well, there are not many days that I’m not in some kind of pain…today, has been a good one. Went to see my Alzheimer’s Sweet Mom this morning and she was in a great mood…that is a good thing. She was resident of the month in her Assisted Care Facility. Her picture will be in the local paper tomorrow. She is a hoot…very funny!

No, just a rainy boring day. But it could be worse. At least it cooled off a lot.

I’m probably not going to play again until…well, probably next year. Tried to comeback and play too soon after my last hip replacement . After the surgery, going to workout at the local gym a lot before playing again.

Dated a girl that was an accomplished artist for about 6 months. VERY nice human being…just did not work out. That was a longtime ago.

It’s a good day. I don’t go back to work till Monday, so I have three days off. I had a Dr. appt for 9 this morning, but yesterday I changed it to a later time so I wouldn’t have to get up if I didn’t want to. Good call because it was flat POURING rain this morning, and thundering and lightening and the best place to be when it’s pouring rain and thundering and lightening in the morning is IN BED!!

No. And it did not help. :-(

@Adirondackwannabe In the late 90’s, was working a flood in Pa. and had claim in southern NY in the mountains…and they are mountains to me! Could not tell you for a million dollars where it was at…know that i never liked to have found this cabin! Beautiful area. I was working out of Bloomsberg, Pa!

@Val123 Well, I was riding my longboard (skateboard) down a hill, and I got a little out of control (I was going about 40mph) as you can imagine, making turns at that speed on a skateboard is not easy. I couldn’t stop, so i tired to make the turn but i lost traction and skidded across the road into the ditch. But my road rash is healing up pretty quick so that’s a pretty good thing :)
