Do you need a data package for the android phones on sprint?

If you have an all data family plan for Sprint. Do you have to pay more to use an Android phone? Say I had a regular phone, with unlimited text, data, internet, etc… and I upgraded to an Android. Would the Android be covered or would i have to get a whole different plan for just that phone?

Your regular plan should cover it except for the additional $10 fee for the 4G- which you have to pay whether or not you have 4G in your area.
