Is it true that flying can delay menstruation?

I don’t see any reason why it would, although stress can alter the menstrual period. Can’t give you the exact pathways of the stress hormones but I can hypothesize that glucocorticoids and/or cortisol interact with luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, gonadotropin-releasing hormone, estradiol, and/or progesterone…...handwaving…....somehow.

Hi yes it can delay your period! It has happened to me,mostly when i have been on long flights tho! No answer as to why tho?? Cheers sergie x
