Well, I have to root based on my ethnicity, so Germany, Italy, England, and USA. Then Portugal because my friend has an obscene obsession for Cristiano Ronaldo. Also Mexico because Dr_C is rooting for them! And then South Korea, because I’m on a South Korea kick -no pun intended.

I’m cheering for Italy. I predict an Argentina win. I’m secondarily cheering for all the African teams.

I’m rooting for England of course and I think Argentina will win, possibly Brazil.

Ad far as winning the whole thing I think Spain, Portugal, Brazil and maybe Argentina have the best shot.

(I say “maybe” for Argentinabecause they have a debilitating weakness, their Coach Diego Armando Maradona. By far one of the best players in the history of the sport and the world cup… Probably in the top 3, but a shitty coach by any and all standards).

Yes, you can call me an ideal world cup watcher. I have watched all matches up to now. Mainly, I am rooting for Brazil. My favorite other teams are France, Portugal, Croatia. I also love to watch game of Germany and Argentina.

I’ve decided England just have a shit team, the few (3 maybe) good players are swamped by mediocraty and what the fuck is that fat useless fuck Heskey doing in the team, even when he was younger and quicker at Liverpool he spent more time on his arse than his feet.

@RareDenver – Agreed and Heskey is a Donkey! Why oh why is he there? Where was Joe Cole, why did Crouch come on so late and why was Rooney so far back?

@Mat74UK – We already lost Ballack. Now Schweinsteiger might have a more serious injury. The match against Ghana did show to me that the German team might not be able to repeat the 2006 success. And we don’t have people like Rooney, Robben, Ronaldo or Messi. Two brilliant moves and they can decide a game.
