Will Apple stores honor the AT&T upgrade pricing on iPhone 4 purchases?

Asked by mcbealer (10232points) June 12th, 2010

I qualify for the iPhone 4 upgrade pricing since my contract ran out earlier this year.

I also happen to still have the iPhone credit Apple issued to iPhone buyers back in 2007.

So I’m wondering if I will be able to buy an iPhone 4 at the Apple store, redeem the credit, plus also pay only the upgrade pricing of $299 for the 32GB model?

Unless policies have changed, my understanding is that Apple prices are in accord with ATTs.

It’s six to one, half dozen of the other for where you purchase and always has been. But if you want to double check that, just call 800— MY IPHONE and they can confirm it.

That’s how it’s been from the beginning. The only reason I got mine from ATT is cuz they were able to transfer the stuff from the sim card on my old Samsung.

But this time around, I’m going to an Apple store since they are so much more helpful and their info on the iPhone is SO much more accurate.

Just for curiosity, what’s the story on the Apple credit ?

@Buttonstc ~ it was issued to the initial iPhone buyers as a courtesy when Apple slashed the price of the iPhone later that year.
