What's looking good at E3 2010?
As I get older, I get more and more out of touch with things like E3 (the Video Game conference).
I didn’t even realize it was this week ‘til yesterday.
What are the big expectations this time around (or where can I get a good list) besides Project Natal. I already know about Natal being the big thing, but what else is going on?
I’m trying to decide if I’m going to get excited or not. Truthfully, Natal just didn’t really make my heart beat any faster last year when they showed it.

All I want is “Fallout: New Vegas”
You know, I just want to see what Valve puts out. I’ve become a Half Life 2 whore recently, and it sounds like they’re going to release (or at least give a date for release yes, I know about Valve time) for Episode 3.
Fallout: New Vegas looks great, as @mrentropy said. Killzone 3 lookaspromising as well. XCOM sounds good. It’s made by the same folks as Bioshock, so it can’t be too bad. Besides Project Natal, that’s about all I can think of.
XCOM . . . nice. I hadn’t heard of that one. Now I want it NOW.
Bioshock 2 is probably the best game out in years, in my opinion.
Oh hell, I’m excited for everything this year. It’s like my own little slice of heaven for the next few days.
I want more info on Natal- er I mean Kinect (stupid name). The games I’ve seen so far haven’t utilized it how I think it would be the most awesome- I want user-designated hand signals for campaigns or some other UI beyond ‘flail like a fish! Now jump!’.
—-Natal- damnit Kinect still confuses me a bit because who can buy this? You have to stand far enough away for the lens to see your whole body and I honestly don’t know anyone with that much room in their house. Also, the gestures look like you have to exaggerate them to such a degree that I wonder how Kinect will be integrated with the controller instead of replacing it all together.—
Really perking up at Sony’s news this year. Move- okay another motion control. It could be fun, I haven’t seen enough yet to give it a yay/nay. I’m interested to see if they’re going to price-drop since they had some new chips this year. Really excited to see their lineup demod- hoping they will show more actual gameplay this year.
Nintendo- uhhh 3DS anyone? Very excited for that- also possible price-drop on the DSi and DSiXL. Eager to see some new 3D game lineups. I’m itching for a new Zelda as well. Wondering what news of Mario and Mickey we’ll have this year.
Sadly, I have seen absolutely nothing of a Kingdom Hearts 3. It’s all I’ve been waiting for since the second one came out.
If they announce a new Zelda I’ll have something g else to obsess about waiting for. I thought I’d have a break once I got the new iPhone :( ( I still havc the first gen with a cracked screen)... Omg New Zelda!!! I hope they don’t ruin it.
