How long does it take for thin set mortar to dry on a tiled floor?

Today it was fairly warm and humid, it rained off and on.

Depends on how warm the floor and your room is…how humid. But, relatively speaking, it doesn’t take long. You’ll see the change in color…it will become lighter.
Depends of course on how thick it is, and the relative humidity. My husband’s company generally allows it to set overnight when floating a floor. That’s usually enough time, unless they’ve had to lay it thick in some areas to bring up a particularly deep indent.
Overnight to walk on – a week to completely cure.
