How often do you F11 a website that you intend to spend a lot of time at?

I love to F11 websites and to compensate I also have opened the gov time clock website so when I play certain game sites I toggle it and I can hit a boss at the exact time I want to and hopefully I get the drop that I want. Yeah I’m a big time gamer. I really do suggest that you F11 all sites you spend lots of time on though as it gets rid of all the clutter and you have a totally clear picture of the website you currently are enjoying. I F11 as much as I can because I don’t like seeing any of the bars on top or bottom and I just prefer clear internet sailing.

Never.. I had no idea even what F11 did and had to look it up. But that’s nifty, thanks for mentioning it! I think I will be definitely using this in the future.
For those wondering…. F11 puts the browser in full screen mode.
I autohide my toolbars so it make little difference for me.
I’m now an avid F11er!
Thanx for the tip!
What if one is using a Mac ?
Sometimes for videos that look crappy on full screen.
On the Mac, as shown on the key itself, F11 brings up the icon for increasing the volume. F10, F11, and F12 do it sequentially from softer to loudest.
@gailcalled On some of the older Macbooks and Powerbooks it actually shows the desktop, moving all the windows off to the side of the screen. Which isn’t really all that useful when you’re viewing a webpage.
@dverhey F5 does that but the windows are too small to be useful. F4 brings up the Widgets.F1 and F2 dim or brighten the screen. My iMac is two years old but has Snow Leopard.
Wow. Learn something every day. :-)
Thanks!
@ChazMaz: You can’t imagine how thrilled I am to teach someone (anyone) a new techie trick.
How do you get back after using F11?
Never knew what F11 did until I read this. I would probably never use it though as most of the time when I’m browsing I have several windows open and I’m constantly switching between them.
I have done occasionally, but since I have such poor eyesight, I have to view everything plussed up and I can only view part of the screen at a time.
@YARNLADY you know that you have to press Ctrl+ to make it bigger or Ctrl- to make it smaller. I bet you already knew that though.
@Kraken Yes, that’s what I meant by ‘plussed’ up. thanks.
Never, on my Logitech wireless keyboard attached to my iMac the F11 key makes the web page disappear and then come back. I just checked. I’m not sure what a real mac wireless keyboard would do. I’ll have to check out what it does on a the PC. and Kraken is in the house!
