How to respond to comments on Tumblr?

This feels like a really dumb question to ask, but seriously, I cannot figure it out. I had a comment, I wanted to reply, but there doesn’t appear to be any link on the page to do so.

What gives?

There’s no real way to. I usually either take a screenshot of their response and then post it as a picture with another comment or leave your answer in their “ask” box if they have it enabled. Or I just ignore the comment if it’s just a “lol” or doesn’t mean anything.
