20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, 1954 version.
The Caine Mutiny. Oddly enough 1954.
Water World. No,I mean Titanic.
Dead Calm Great film! I believe it’s the film Tom Cruise first stalked noticed Nicole Kidman in.
Dead Calm is a movie that just pisses me off.
For the record i’d have to say Cast Away( well you can see the sea, most of the time) & What was that movie with Kirk Douglas & Yul Brynner? Douglas was a lighthouse keeper & Brynner a sort of pirate. Can’t recall the name of it but was a bloody good little movie.Suggestions appreciated.
Message in a Bottle.
@ChazMaz Why does that movie piss you off?
Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter On The High Seas!
Billy Zane – I wanted to kill him. Over and over.
I second Cast Away (if it counts).
The African Queen!
Charlie: We can’t do that!
Rose: How do you know? You never tried it.
Charlie: Well, yeah, but I never tried shooting myself in the head neither.
@ipso Mutiny on the Bounty…great movie!
Run Silent Run Deep
Key Largo
Das Boot
Deep Blue
Jaws
Across the Pacific
The African Queen
Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. (1951)
Das Boot
Jaws and African Queen are great, but not “majority set at sea” to me.
