Do you like your Nikon D90 or D5000?

I am interested in purchasing either the Nikon D90 or the D5000. Knowing that the D5000 is half the price—are there many features that the 5000 does not have, that the 90 does? What about difference in picture quality? I am upgrading from a point and shoot to an SLR. A novice shutterbug…

I’ve got the D90.
I’m in love with it.

For someone who isn’t hardcore into to photography, the D5000 is nice.
But if you can afford the D90, I’d go with that. It’s a better choice in the long run.
I’d rant, but I’m on limited time. Hopefully someone else can get into detail better than I can
