How do i put a script on greasemonkey?

i have a script that i would like to use (i edited it from someone else) and i was just going to have it for my own use but i don’t understand what i do in order to get it to work?

Easiest way is to just drag the icon of the script to your Firefox icon. Or use File—> Open File.

Or you can upload it to http://userscripts.org/ and install the script from there.
