Can you think of famous quotes, or perhaps an idiom or expression, that you would associate with someone, or their voice, just from reading it??

In chat, I wrote: How you doin?

I was told it “sounded” like Joey from Friends.

Could be a cartoon character, too. Like, “Eh. What’s up Doc?”

Got one?

The first one that jumped to mind reading this was, ”“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Franklin D. Roosevelt. I can hear his voice and inflection in that speech. And then Neil Armstrong’s “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” That one was particularly interesting because he had meant to say “for a man” but left out the definite article.

And after seeing the film The Ten Commandments year after year for the Passover season, who could forget Bithiah (Nina Koch) and here cry of devotion to Moses (Charlton Heston), “Moses, Moses, Moses!”

Every year around Passover I’d get that chant stuck in my head.
