Outside of fluther, I ask dumb questions all the time.
What’s the date? It was my birthday. I asked it twice actually.
How do I spell my middle name?
What’s so funny? After I told a bunch of guy work friends that it took me a week to figure out I could steal a car playing Grand Theft Auto.

To a young female patient in the emergency room, I recall asking her why she took the peel off the banana?
