Frozen Lemonade Recipe
Ingredients You Will Need:
3 cups ice cubes
½ cup sugar (or less, depending on your tastes)
2 cups water
½ cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
In a blender, take your ice cubes, sugar, water and lemon juice, and crush together until the mixture runs smooth. You can adjust the flavors if you’d like by adding in more sugar or lemon juice. To serve these tasty treats, pour the liquid into margarita glasses, and top with a few additional ice cubes.
Variations
If you like frozen lemonade, you’ll love some variations on the classic. You can add in just about any fresh flavor you’d like to. Fresh mint, raspberries, limes and blackberries are only a few suggestions. Instead of mixing the water and sugar, you can also use lemonade concentrate. You can pick up concentrate at your local grocery store either frozen in cans or as a dry mix.
Frozen Adult Lemonade
If you want to make this an adult cocktail, vodka will be your liquor of choice, as it will go nicely with the lemon flavors. Depending on how many drinks you want to have, try a shot per each drink. Therefore, if you want to serve four people, include four shots in your frozen lemonade recipe. You can also try a nice combo of whiskey and rum if those flavors suite your palate better.
If you want to make frozen lemonade that both adults and kids can enjoy, whip up a batch sans alcohol. When you pour the lemonade into individual cups, you can pour one shot of vodka, rum or whiskey on top of the ice for the adult version.
