What is the daily limit for friend requests on italki.com?

The day I joined it seemed I was allowed a lot more friend requests. Today I was only allowed a few.

From what I can tell on this question: http://www.italki.com/answers/question/48942.htm, it isn’t so much a particular number of friend requests per day as it is a spam filter that enacts when the website feels that you’ve put out too many requests.
