Did you ever ask a question on Fluther just because you were looking for attention? What kind of responses satisfied that need?

Most of my questions ask for different opinions, or preferences, so I don’t think so. The rest of my questions are things I need help with. I guess it’s kinda like attention, but they’re usually things with technical issues, so that may not count much.
Anyways, I don’t have to try very hard to get attention haha.
I’ve been accused of it, but I’ve never asked anything to get attention other than answers to a legitimate question.
I’m pretty sure I haven’t. I doubt that many people do. I wonder, though, if anyone would admit it even if they had?
I would. In fact, most of the answers I give are attention whore material. But my questions just seem different. I didn’t mention it because they were asking about questions and not answers, but there ya have it.
I wouldn’t say I have asked a question in order to get attention, but I would say I have asked questions in order to strike up a conversation. I think most of the questions in the new “Social” category are for that purpose. Sort of a slow chat – with a specific theme – at least in the beginning of the thread.
Humourous replies are just that.
I think that asking a question like this is asking for attention. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
I have not knowingly or intentionally asked a question just because I wanted attention.
I never did that before. I usually post what I want to say/know here.(I know I really want my popularity here but somehow I just can’t do it here for some reason). And I saw some people did such thing here but that’s their business, not mine.
No. I have family and friends for attention. I ask/answer for data, and possibly good conversation.
No. I don’t particularly like attention. NO I“M NOT LYING!!!
@Val123 I bet if the men you have imprisoned in your basement ignored you, you would mind.
O crap, @lillycoyote! I forgot about them! It’s been, what, 2 years?? Should I check on them??
