Peace before me, Peace behind me, Peace behind me, Peace above me and under my feet. Peace within me, Peace around me and in all whom I meet.
I got it from a meditation book.
Not sure if this is the kind of peace you mean, but:
May the conscience and the common sense of the peoples be awakened, so that we may reach a new stage in the life of nations, where people will look back on war as an incomprehensible aberration of their forefathers! – Albert Einstein
From my favorite philosopher, Ashleigh Brilliant
Life is the only game in which the object of the game is to learn the rules.©Ashleigh Brilliant 2010
Children who are born into happy families grow up speaking love as their native language.©Ashleigh Brilliant 2010
A few of my favourites…..
“We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”
Oscar Wilde
“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night”
Sarah Williamson
“Any idiot can face a crisis, its the day to day living that can wear us out”.
Anton Checkov
“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.”

“There is music wherever there is harmony, order, or proportion ~
Thomas Browne
~ Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance and order and rhythm and harmony ~
Thomas Merton
~ With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony, and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things. ~
William Wordsworth
Good weapons are instruments of fear; all creatures hate them.
Therefore followers of Tao never use them.
The wise man prefers the left.
The man of war prefers the right.
Weapons are instruments of fear; they are not a wise man’s tools.
He uses them only when he has no choice.
Peace and quiet are dear to his heart.
And victory no cause for rejoicing.
If you rejoice in victory, then you delight in killing;
If you delight in killing, you cannot fulfill yourself.
On happy occasions precedence is given to the left,
On sad occasions to the right.
In the army the general stands on the left,
The commander-in-chief on the right.
This means that war is conducted like a funeral.
When many people are being killed,
They should be mourned in heartfelt sorrow.
That is why a victory may be observed like a funeral.
[Tao Te Ching, verse 31]
I don’t know any quotes but will offer out my own personal mantra which is, “do as much for yourself as you want while doing the least amount of harm to others as you make your way”.
“If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough horsepower.” – Mark Donohue
