What foods to give out at a 17 year olds spa party?

Asked by meandzeddie (11points) June 29th, 2010

Im having a spa party at my house. It’s a mobile spa. They don’t provide the food or drinks. So what kind of food and drinks should we prepare?

Keep in mind the general atmosphere of the party. I’d go for fresh foods and fruity drinks, things that are evocative of a healthy body, while remaining tasty.

Fruit/vegetable trays, cucumber sandwiches, cheese and wheat/grain crackers, salad, mini muffins/cupcakes, chocolate fondue, gourmet pizza, shrimp cocktails, hummus, chicken salad wraps.

To drink you can have herbal teas, water with cucumber or lemon, fruit smoothies/fresh juices, espresso, etc.

17’s means tastes all over the place, so include some vegetarian dishes as well.
Edit: I should not limit that to 17 year olds, sorry guys.

Maybe virgin frozen daquiri’s or pina coladas. I also really like half cranapple half red grapefruit juice in a tall glass with lots of ice.

- Shrimp cocktail, or coconut shrimp with a spice orange marmalade on the side.
– Raw veggies with dip.
– Mixed greans (I like the Fresh Express Spring mix) sliced apples and walnuts with Paul Newan’s Rasberry walnut lite dressing, it is light and sweet.
– Watermellon and canteloupe balls in a cut out watermellon
– Chicken and beef kabobs
– crackers and cheese
– Lemon squares or Key Lime Pie
