PlayStation 3: go for the 250gb HD, or are 120gb enough?

So, I’m going to get a Sony PlayStation 3. Yay! The last console I bought was the Nintendo 64, and back in the day, we didn’t need no stinkin’ HD. Turns out these days one has to choose how much space is needed. Can you guys help me out? The difference is $50, which isn’t all that much, but hey, who gives away $50?
While we’re at it, any games you recommend? The primary reason I’m buying it is to play FIFA Soccer ‘10, so I’m of course getting that one. Got any tips?

Twice the storage for $50? I’d go for it, but I download all the demos I can, copy music over to it, and movies. I’ll be doing that less, though, once I build a media server. But I’d say if you can afford the $50, go for the bigger size. If money is tight you’ll probably be fine with 120GB.
Well, most games that I have on average take up 4–5GB per game. As I also use my PS3 for movies and audio; by the time I got all my movies (700mb average) copied over, I only had 20GB free. But if you’re only going to be playing games, then that extra $50 could go towards a new one.
The HD on a PS3 is user upgradeable, they even include instructions in the manual. Bearing that in mind $50’s is a lot to pay for a 250gb hd. For example, Amazon has a 500gb for $60.
So… buy the cheaper PS3, buy a bigger HD and sell the 120GB drive on ebay. You’ll end up with twice the storage space for the same or less than teh cost of the 250 gb PS3.
Bear in mind that if you are even half serious about gaming, there is no such thing as “enough gig”.
UPDATE! I’ve ordered the following:
PlayStation 3 120 GB
DualShock 3 Wireless Controller – Silver
Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Disc Remote
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
FIFA Soccer 10
Thanks for your input, y’all!
