Many, many love songs came out of the 70s. what's your favorite?
I rarely answer my own question. but, today is an exception. the 70s will always be known as the “love song generation”. some truly great love songs were born in the 70s. yes, i have a favorite love song from 1978. its truly a great song with great lyrics and the musical arrangements are awesome. if you have not listened or not familiar with this song, please go to Youtube and listen. this song receives a 5-Star rating from me. it’s “How Much I Feel”, by Ambrosia. they just do not write love songs like this anymore. whats your favorite love song of the 70s?

@aprilsimnel I knew exactly what song you were talking about, just by the first ‘la’ you typed. :)
@zenele thanks for the list, as I found my second choice.
Don’t Go Breaking My Heart – Elton John and Kiki Dee.
“Isn’t She Lovely?” by Stevie Wonder when he was singing about his new baby girl. Now THAT’S a love song.
We’ve Only Just Begun by the Carpenters.
Muskrat Love by The Captain & Tenille.
That was a joke, by the way!
Everything I own by Bread
This song reminds me of a road trip I took with my dad when I was younger…. of course that observation has nothing to do with being in love or the 70’s. Just sayin’...
I was also going to say “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”, but @jenandcolin beat me to it. So I’ll say “Aint No Sunshine”.
Lick My Love Pump : Spinal Tap.
Evergreen by Barbara Streisand. My mum used to play her stuff a lot so I grew up with it through the 70s.
Oh, how about this one, y’all? Took me another 6 years, when the big chart hits started coming, to realize the same man sang this and the hits I loved.
I Think I Love You – Partridge Family also a joke, on my puberty
