Where does our liberty come from God or government?

please don’t take this offensively but I’m going to start calling you Elwood from the Blues Brothers.
In regards to your question what kind of liberty are you referring to exactly?
I do not get the elwood. liberty=being able to act upon your on will
so your real question is “is free will given by God or man?” I would have to say, if you believe in God, both. While God, theologically, can give us free will but man has the power to encourage or supress it as well.
Still, I admire your determination, Elwood.
no I want poeple to think for themselfs I have said it before what I believe means nothing it can only help one person me but if I can see how others think it will help me be a better person because the only thing that matters to others is not what you say but what you do

Our Founding Fathers themselves wrote that they attempted to create a government that reflected the ideal nature of Man as he was created by his Creator. I think they did a better job of it than any other government of which I am aware.
