Who do you believe was the most underrated scientist to ever live?

This is a very straightforward question, are there any scientists that anyone feels didn’t get the recognition they deserve based on their achievements/discoveries?

Tesla.
His technology was maligned and suppressed.We are only beginning to employ a small fraction of his discoveries and theory.To this day,he is given little to no credit.
@lucillelucillelucille That was my pick as well, he was way ahead of his time. Faraday comes to mind too for me.

I was going to say Tesla as well. I know nothing about him, but every time people talk about underrated scientists, Tesla comes up. :\
Here’s two more: Aristarchus and Copernicus. I think they deserve more credit than Galileo. The heliocentric model of the solar system was their idea first.
