What is the most impressive nutritional supplement you have ever taken? I am looking for something that has made a huge impact on how you feel. More energy, higher levels of alertness, weight loss, better sense of well being.

Eating healthy food and avoiding processed and packaged foods as much as possible has made more of a difference for me than any pill I’ve ever taken.
In the approximate words of someone Gailcalled quoted a while back, Eat a variety of foods. Mostly plants.
amphetamines work for me. Not the stuff you buy on a street corner but the stuff you get from a pharmacy.
@MrKnowItAll. What is Amazium? Where do I get it? How does it make you feel?@cwilbur-I own a seasonal produce business and eat tons of fresh produce in the summer but it is not as accessible in the winter. What to do?
I take something called Maxgxl. It is a glutathione enhancer. I got it off a website: www.maxgxl.com/creatingabundance I have had amazing results from it with my arthritis, psoriasis and enrgy. I know of others where they have had fibro-myalgia, breathign difficulties and this stuff has made a huge difference. Give it a shot.
screw that, take ecstasy, go to a rave, chew your lips off
Fruits and veggies! Seriously they have transformed my life :-P
All of the vitamins and minerals do wonders for your energy and weight loss. I’ve even read that an apple can wake you up more than a cup of coffee in the morning! :)
Here’s a link to an earlier question w. lots of excellent answers.

Quote was from Michael Pollan’s book: IN DEFENSE OF FOOD. “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”
I buy tons of frozen fruits and veggies (unsprayed) at the health food store during the winter..also winter squash, sweet potatoes (organic) organic salad and fruits now available from supermarket. More costly but better than dying of the toxic spray used in Chile, Peru and Mexico.
@cornman: where do you live? And sadly, there are no quick fixes; just the slow and plodding change of life-style.
The suggestions of ecstasy and speed are triggered by what need, pray tell?
Hey Gail! Thanks for the feedback. I live in Layton, Utah.
I take fish oil. I think we eat way too much red meat in the West (heart disease is number one killer). I had high triglycerides—sort of like cholesterol—but brought it WAY down with the help of prescription strength fish oil. I don’t feel any different per se but my blood is much healthier. Beyond that, the basic boring stuff you know you should do is what you should focus on—regular exercise, not smoking and a moderate diet. No silver bullets in life, sorry.
